The 31st Textile Asia International Exhibition & Conferences—South Asia’s largest showcase of digital textile and garment machinery—opened today at the Lahore Expo Centre. Day 1 was inaugurated by Mr. Sheikh Shafiq Johkwala, Chief Coordinator PRGMEA – Patron-in-Chief (South Zone).
Organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd, co-organized by PRGMEA, and strategically supported by SIFC, this year’s edition places a strong spotlight on Textile 4.0, smart factories, digital automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies—reflecting the central theme “Technology at the Heart of Value Addition.”
The event brings together global innovators and industry leaders to showcase how AI, IoT, robotics, real-time data intelligence, cloud systems, and predictive automation are reshaping Pakistan’s textile and apparel value chain.

Eco-Textile Conference 2.0 – “The Responsible Textile Shift”
Day 1 also marked the opening of Eco-Textile Conference 2.0, themed “The Responsible Textile Shift: Redefining Pakistan’s Textile Future.”
The conference gathered international experts, academia, policymakers, and technology leaders for discussions on ESG frameworks, renewable energy, circularity, responsible production, and digital transformation.
Diplomats, dignitaries, and business leaders from more than 16 chambers and associations participated, reinforcing cross-sector collaboration for a sustainable textile future.
